Aaron Rodgers donned a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey for the first time, and the image has ignited speculation about his off-field life. The 41-year-old quarterback signed his contract with the Steelers on June 7, and the team shared a photo on Instagram that prominently featured a band on his left ring finger.
Comments flooded in, with one user noting, “Biggest shock is that wedding band,” while another questioned, “Marriage ring? 👀.” This ring first caught attention at the Barnstable Brown Gala in Louisville, Kentucky, on May 2, where Rodgers was seen wearing it.
Shortly after the gala, AJ Hawk, a close friend and former teammate from the Green Bay Packers, was asked about Rodgers’ personal life during an appearance on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show. “To tell you the truth, I don’t know if I have any answers on that situation,” Hawk remarked on May 6. “He’s very private and mysterious when it comes to things like that, and this is definitely one of those, for sure.”
Hawk refrained from probing Rodgers about the ring but noted that he appeared “very happy.” In an earlier April interview on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers hinted at significant changes in his life. “I’m in a different phase of my life,” he stated. “I’m 41 years old. I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention.”
In December 2024, he mentioned his girlfriend’s name as Brittani but offered no further details. His past relationships include notable figures such as race car driver Danica Patrick, actress Olivia Munn, and actress Shailene Woodley, with whom he was engaged in February 2021 before their split the following year.

Rodgers’ contract with the Steelers is a one-year deal worth $13.65 million, which includes $5.85 million in performance incentives, as reported by sources. He is expected to participate in the team’s mandatory minicamp starting June 10.
After two challenging seasons with the New York Jets, who released him in February, Rodgers is set to face his former team when the Steelers kick off the 2025 NFL season against the Jets on September 7.
