Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 2 Trailer Unveiled
Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, set to premiere on June 18. This season promises an in-depth look at the 2024-2025 squad, capturing the highs and lows of the competitive audition process.
“Last year, I was cut. I knew the dream wasn’t over yet,” reflects Kelly V., a returning fan favorite, in the trailer. Alongside her, familiar faces like Charly, Jada, Reece, Chandi, and Armani are also featured, each with their own aspirations and challenges.
The series opens with a raw portrayal of auditions, where not every hopeful will secure a spot on the team. “You’re like, ‘When we make the team, we’re going to make it together because we’re such good friends,’” one aspiring cheerleader shares. “But then it doesn’t end up like that.”
As the competition heats up, a veteran cheerleader acknowledges the increasing talent pool. “We are really excited that there’s a lot of new girls,” she states. “Every year, the talent just gets better and better.” Another cheerleader adds, “We’ve always been told there’s 100 more girls who would love to do this job.”

Returning contestants aim to fulfill their dreams while navigating personal challenges. One athlete is seen striving to follow in her mother’s footsteps, raising questions about the impact on her reputation.
Choreographers Judy Trammell and Charlotte Jones will also return, guiding the squad through training camp and into the NFL season. “Everyone’s going to say, ‘Well, they’re just cheerleaders,’” one cast member remarks. “But we’re really good cheerleaders.”
Determined to succeed, one candidate allows cameras to capture her juggling three jobs to pursue her DCC ambitions. The first season of America’s Sweethearts premiered in June 2024, quickly gaining popularity for its authentic depiction of the dedication required to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
Director Greg Whiteley expressed his desire for deeper storytelling as filming progressed. “Our last two or three weeks of filming, we were just starting to hit our stride,” he noted. “I felt like we were just starting to get there as we were wrapping up.”

With seven hour-long episodes lined up for season two, fans can expect an engaging exploration of both the personal and professional lives of these cheerleaders as they strive for success on and off the field.
