Detroit Lions Unveil 2025 Training Camp Schedule

Jun 17 2025

The Detroit Lions are gearing up for an exciting 2025 season, having just clinched back-to-back NFC North titles. The team revealed its training camp schedule on Tuesday, setting the stage for a summer filled with preparation and fan interaction.

Beginning July 26, the training camp will take place at the Lions' training facility located at 222 Republic Drive in Allen Park, running through August 21. This year’s camp will feature joint practices with both the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans, providing a unique opportunity for players to sharpen their skills against different competition.

The Lions will kick off their preseason on July 31 against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Hall of Fame game, part of the Enshrinement Week festivities. As the designated home team, Detroit looks to build on last season's impressive 15-2 record, which ended with a divisional round playoff loss to Washington.

Fans eager to attend practices can register for free tickets starting July 15, with a limit of four tickets per person. Notably, three of the ten practice sessions will be exclusive to Detroit Lions Loyal Members, enhancing the experience for dedicated supporters.

After each practice, select players will be available for autographs around the facility, although availability is not guaranteed. Attendees can also shop for Lions merchandise at an on-site trailer and enjoy food, giveaways, and interactive games throughout the sessions.

All practices will be held outdoors at the Meijer Performance Center. In the event of inclement weather, sessions will move indoors and be closed to the public. Gates will open one hour prior to practice, allowing fans ample time to settle in.

Parking is complimentary in designated lots near the performance center, making it convenient for fans to attend. However, certain items are prohibited during practices: clear plastic bags must not exceed dimensions of 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, while small clutch bags and cases for cameras or binoculars should not exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.
