In a segment of Cosmopolitan's "Cheap Shots," González expressed her enthusiasm for the couple. "I’m obsessed with them, and I love Timmy," she stated, referring to Chalamet affectionately. The actress, known for her role in "Fountain of Youth," praised him as "the most talented, sweetest — honestly, sweetest boy," adding that she feels proud to see him flourishing in his career.
When asked about her recent Instagram interaction, where she liked a photo of Chalamet and Jenner, González responded positively. "They looked so cute together," she remarked. "They look so in love and so cute." Her comments reflect a supportive attitude towards her ex's new romance.
However, when the conversation shifted to the past relationship between herself and Chalamet, she laughed off inquiries about "what really went down" between them. The two were briefly linked romantically in June 2020 after being spotted sharing a kiss during a vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Chalamet, 29, has been dating Jenner since April 2023, and the couple recently made their red carpet debut at the David di Donatello Awards in Rome, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.
Meanwhile, González is currently in a relationship with Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov. She shared how he initially reached out to her through direct messages during the same "Cheap Shots" segment. "It was such a gentleman message," she recalled, expressing her admiration for his approach. "I was really impressed by him … and then I gave him a shot and here we are!"
