Erika Kirk Reportedly Went on a Shopping Spree Less Than 24 Hours After Husband's Death
Erika Kirk is under fire for allegedly embarking on a shopping spree less than a day after her husband, Charlie Kirk, was murdered during a Turning Point USA event last year.
The newly appointed CEO of the nonprofit organization has been embroiled in controversy since her husband's death, with the latest allegations suggesting that her shopping habits were not only extravagant but also inappropriate for someone in mourning.
Critics have pointed to her behavior following Charlie's passing, particularly her increased visibility in public events, as a cause for concern.
@markosbits Erika, if you’re gonna go on a shopping spree 12 hours after your hubby gets sniped at least treat yourself to Prada.

While the immediate aftermath of Charlie's assassination focused on capturing his killer, reports have emerged detailing Erika's alleged actions during this tumultuous time.
An influencer disclosed that a source informed them that Erika went shopping within 24 hours of her husband's death. This revelation came from an employee at Alo Yoga, a high-end athletic apparel brand known for its pricey yoga wear.
In a TikTok video that has amassed six million views, the anonymous source presented what they claimed was a receipt from Erika's shopping excursion, showing expenditures exceeding $1,000 at the store.
The influencer further asserted that Erika purchased multiple all-black outfits, including a tracksuit, which raised eyebrows among viewers.
“I find it bizarre that she would indulge in retail therapy so soon after her husband was publicly murdered,” the influencer remarked, emphasizing the high prices of the items at Alo Yoga.
“What’s more shocking? The shopping spree less than 24 hours after her husband’s assassination or the choice of store?” they added.
The accuser also noted that the items purchased were not appropriate for a funeral, suggesting that a person in shock would not even consider shopping at such a time. “That’s not how grief works for a normal person,” the TikToker stated. “No one wears leggings and a sports bra to their husband’s funeral.”

Since the allegations surfaced, the video has garnered nearly a million likes and ignited widespread discussions on social media platforms.
Many users have expressed their disapproval of Erika's alleged actions, highlighting how unusual they appeared during such a sensitive period. “I can’t even recall the first few days after my dad passed; shopping wouldn’t have crossed my mind,” one commenter shared.
Another user echoed this sentiment: “A shopping spree less than 24 hours later is insane,” while a third added, “She didn’t care about that man at all.”

Some users took to trolling Erika with sarcastic remarks. One quipped, “Everyone grieves differently. Some cry, and some go on shopping sprees and sell merch. Who are we to judge?”
Another comment read, “There are now six stages of grief, and shopping is #1.”
As of now, Erika has not publicly addressed the allegations made by TikTok influencer Markos, including whether she personally made the purchases or if they were handled by an assistant.
In recent weeks, she has faced intense scrutiny regarding her demeanor following her husband's death. Critics argue that her behavior trivializes his passing, with one notable accusation coming from her late husband's friend, Candace Owens.

Owens previously shared an audio clip where Erika allegedly discussed the success of a TPUSA event while making what some deemed an inappropriate comment about her husband's death. “My husband’s dead. I’m not trying to be morbid, but he’s dead. It puts life into perspective,” Erika stated.
In response to Erika’s comments, Owens expressed surprise at what she perceived as Erika’s calm demeanor. “I imagined she would be more upset,” Owens remarked during an episode of her podcast.
While Erika has yet to respond to the recent allegations, she has pushed back against critics who suggested she should revert to being a “stay-at-home mom.”
During a TPUSA event, she clarified that she had established her business prior to marrying Charlie and designed it to be self-sufficient so she could focus on both her marriage and motherhood. “People don’t realize I had my own company before I met Charlie,” Erika explained.
“I built it so it could run independently when I got married and had children,” she added.
Erika also addressed criticism regarding her role at TPUSA, stating that she never envisioned her life unfolding this way. “This isn’t just a business card opportunity; there’s something very Biblical about honoring your husband and stepping up,” she noted.
