Fort Worth Welcomes Exclusive Speakeasy Bar No Vacancy
A hidden gem is about to emerge in Fort Worth's West 7th Entertainment District. No Vacancy, an exclusive speakeasy bar, will soon open its doors at 2811 Bledsoe St.
To the untrained eye, the entrance appears to be nothing more than a green dumpster tucked away in an alley. However, for those fortunate enough to possess the right invitation and access code, this dumpster serves as the gateway to a clandestine drinking experience.
While the concept of a secret bar isn't new to the area—Bodega Speakeasy & Grocery operates behind a functioning grocery storefront—No Vacancy sets itself apart with its stringent entry requirements.
Access to this hidden bar hinges on one of several exclusive invitations: a confirmed bottle service reservation complete with a personal entry code, an invitation from staff at any of their affiliated bars, a platinum member card, or a long-term patron pass.
Once patrons secure their reservation, they can approach the scanner at the entrance, where scanning their invitation will unlock the door. Inside, both identification and invitation will undergo verification.
No Vacancy will operate from Friday to Sunday, with hours extending from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., and an after-hours option on Saturday night from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m., subject to an additional cover charge.
In contrast to most bars in the West 7th area that close at 2 a.m., adhering to Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission regulations, No Vacancy offers a unique late-night experience.
In response to safety concerns following tragic incidents involving local students in recent years, police presence in the West 7th area has been bolstered. Enhanced security measures, including surveillance cameras and restrictions on open containers, were implemented in 2024.
As a result of these initiatives, crimes against persons in the vicinity have seen a notable decline of 15.3%, according to the city's public safety report released in April 2024.
