An Arizona pastor, Arturo Laguna, found himself in hot water after being apprehended for secretly recording videos of women using the bathroom at his church. The shocking incident unfolded when a camera, discreetly placed by Laguna, fell out of a dryer, revealing his disturbing actions, as per police reports.

Laguna, who served as a pastor at Casa de Adoracion in Phoenix, reportedly set up the recording device in the church's bathroom during the previous autumn. The illicit recordings took place in October and early November, according to details from a police report disclosed by Fox 10 Phoenix.

The pastor's clandestine activities came to light when a mother stumbled upon the hidden camera while attending to her baby's diaper change in the women's restroom of the strip-mall church. This unsettling discovery prompted law enforcement intervention.

Upon further investigation, authorities uncovered incriminating screenshots of Laguna adjusting the camera inside the church's bathroom. Subsequently, during police interrogation, Laguna admitted to installing the camera in October, confirming the suspicions against him.

Upon scrutinizing the camera's SD card, officials unearthed four brief videos capturing adult women using the bathroom, underscoring the gravity of Laguna's invasive behavior.

The pastor was taken into custody in November and now faces multiple charges of voyeurism, a serious felony offense in the state of Arizona. Following his indictment, Laguna is slated to make another court appearance on January 9.

Efforts to obtain a statement from Casa de Adoracion regarding the distressing incident have been made, but no response has been received as of yet.
