Hollywood Celebrities Join Forces with Top Influencers for LA Wildfire Relief Stream
Hollywood A-Listers and internet sensations are coming together for a noble cause as they collaborate for LA Wildfire Relief LIVE, a charity live stream aimed at assisting victims of the recent Los Angeles fires.
In January 2025, Los Angeles county was ravaged by wildfires that left a trail of destruction, wiping out thousands of structures and displacing hundreds of thousands of residents.
The ferocious fires not only decimated entire neighborhoods but also claimed the lives of 27 individuals, marking one of the most financially burdensome blazes in California's history.
In response to the catastrophic events, a lineup of Hollywood stars and renowned influencers are uniting forces to extend support to the victims of the wildfires.
LA Wildfire Relief LIVE is a collaborative telethon event that will showcase a mix of content creators and actors. The fundraising efforts for the stream are in partnership with Tiltify, alongside several other companies like the Game Grumps’ Real Good Touring, WCPG, and CMPS.
The live broadcast is scheduled for Friday, January 24, to be held at Rosewood Residences in Beverly Hills.
Viewers can catch the stream on various YouTube and Twitch channels, featuring celebrities from different parts of the world.
All proceeds generated from the broadcast will go towards supporting organizations such as the LAFD Wildfire Emergency Fund, the California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, Baby2Baby, and CORE.
According to Deadline, the star-studded lineup includes Josh Brolin, Ben Schwartz, Jean Smart, and Ke Huy Quan, with several other prominent figures from the music and entertainment industries expected to participate.
Additional personalities confirmed for the event, as reported by Deadline, are actors Edwin Hodge, Janina Gavankar, Mehcad Brooks, Jimmy Akingbola, Dante Basco, Rob Reiner, Ricky Whittle, Soleil Moon Frye, and Garcelle Beauvais, along with music artists Ryan Cabrera, Nick Petricca, Shannon K, and Constantine Maroulis.
Joining the cause from the influencer sphere are popular names like Pokimane, Markiplier, Rhett and Link, Shubble, Ethan Nestor (formerly known as CrankGamePlays), Arin Hanson from the Game Grumps, The Try Guys, Nihaachuu, Ranboo, Pointcrow, and Peachjars.
“By bringing together the creator community alongside TV, music, and film celebrities in a contemporary telethon, we aim to show our support for the brave individuals combating the fires and assist the communities in their journey of recovery and reconstruction,” stated Michael Wasserman, CEO of Tiltify, regarding the stream.
Prior to the broadcast, LA Wildfire Relief LIVE has already amassed close to a quarter-million dollars in donations, with a significant contribution of $100,000 from YouTube sensation Jacksepticeye. Tennis player Taylor Fritz has also pledged his first-round prize money from the Australian Open, totaling approximately $350,000, a week before the stream is scheduled to go live.
