Crypto Trader Takes Own Life on Livestream To Create a Meme Coin
A crypto trader known as MistaFuccYou took his own life live on X (formerly Twitter) after losing his last $500 in a meme coin rug pull on Friday night.
Before pulling the trigger, he loaded a revolver on stream and said:
"If I die, make me a meme coin."
The gun misfired twice before firing on the third attempt. His livestream continued for over 30 minutes after his death, with viewers watching in shock as the crypto community reacted in real-time. Within minutes, meme coins using his name flooded the market.
The meme coin community is pure evil

this guy named @/MistaFuccYou went live on X/Twitter to play Russian Roulette just to pump a coin and unfortunately passed away pic.twitter.com/K7v3nORW9N
Who Was MistaFuccYou?
MistaFuccYou, who also went by “Im really poor,” was reportedly 23 years old, according to users on X and Reddit. His past posts suggested struggles with mental health, and some believe his suicide may have also been linked to a breakup. He frequently mentioned a girlfriend, referred to as his “shorty,” but abruptly stopped talking about her two weeks before the incident.
MistaFuccYou’s Death Turns Into a Meme Coin Circus
Minutes after his death, a meme token called “Mistacoin” surfaced. A developer had already sent 70% of the token’s supply to him before the incident, raising speculation about whether this was premeditated.
Reactions in the crypto space were mixed. Some traders rushed to buy the token, hoping to profit from the viral moment. Others condemned the community’s response.
One X user summed up the bizarre turn of events:
“So let me get this straight. This guy starts streaming live on X. Gets scammed. Asks for refunds. Pulls out a six-shooter. Says ‘If I die, make a meme out of me.’ Pulls the trigger three times. Dies. Stream continues for 30 minutes. And people instantly create a meme coin? WTF?”
Another user wrote:
“The meme coin industry is pure evil. This guy literally played Russian roulette to pump a coin, and it killed him.”
Some called out the apparent hypocrisy:
“We’ve seen ‘Justice For’ coins, ‘RIP’ coins, coins based on every tragedy imaginable. But this time, the guy literally asked for it. Now everyone’s acting like they have morals?”
Tragedy or Viral Stunt?
While many believe he was playing Russian roulette—a deadly game where a person loads a single bullet into a revolver, spins the cylinder, and pulls the trigger—others speculate it was a publicity stunt gone wrong. The fact that a meme coin was already prepared before his death fuels theories that it may have been an orchestrated event that spiraled out of control.
Despite the shocking nature of the livestream, no major news outlets have reported on the incident, and law enforcement has not released an official statement. As of now, the only sources of information are discussions on X, Reddit, and crypto forums.
MistaFuccYou’s real identity remains unknown, and the authenticity of the livestream has yet to be verified by authorities.
