Adin Ross Calls Out Dr Disrespect for Alleged Deal with KICK
Adin Ross has stirred the pot in the streaming world by accusing Dr Disrespect of being less than truthful about his intentions regarding KICK. Dr Disrespect, banned from Twitch in 2020 and now residing on YouTube, allegedly expressed interest in joining KICK, a platform backed by Stake. However, the price tag for this move was steep, with the Two-Time demanding a hefty $50 million to make the switch.
Despite initial discussions, KICK CEO Ed Craven later dismissed the idea of bringing Dr Disrespect on board, deeming it a "waste of money." In response, Dr Disrespect declared that he had no plans to migrate his community to KICK and would rather retire than make such a move.

Adin Ross, a prominent figure on KICK, has now entered the fray, refuting Dr Disrespect's claims. According to Ross, there were indeed serious talks between Dr Disrespect and a KICK stakeholder about a potential collaboration. However, the deal fell through due to Dr Disrespect's exorbitant financial demands.
Ross didn't mince words, stating, "Dr Disrespect, donโt lie to the people. You were trying to come to KICK. You were having a conversation with you know who and you were going to come but you didnโt get offered as much money as you wanted."
While KICK initially made headlines by luring streamers away from Twitch with lucrative deals, the platform's spending spree seems to have hit a pause. Craven also dispelled rumors surrounding a supposed $5 million deal with 'Hawk Tuah' girl Hailey Welch, clarifying that KICK has not been actively issuing new contracts recently.
