Ironmouse Breaks Records: Dominates Twitch & YouTube as Most-Watched Female Streamer

Oct 16 2024

Ironmouse, the beloved VTuber, has made waves in the streaming community by claiming the title of the most-watched female streamer on both Twitch and YouTube, all thanks to her extraordinary subathon.

It all began on September 1, 2024, when Ironmouse kicked off a month-long subathon on her Twitch channel, pledging to donate half of her earnings to the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

Her fans wasted no time in showing their support, flooding into her channel as soon as the event commenced. The number of subscribers soared rapidly, surpassing the records previously held by renowned streamers like Kai Cenat, Ludwig, and Ninja.

By September 23, Ironmouse had clinched the title of the streamer with the highest number of active subscribers. But she didn’t stop there; she went on to surpass the all-time subscriber records of Ninja and Ludwig.

On September 30, Ironmouse shattered Kai Cenat’s previous all-time subscriber count of 306,621, setting a new benchmark at an impressive 326,252 subscribers.

Thanks to this monumental achievement during her subathon, Ironmouse has now secured her position as the most-watched female streamer on the internet.

According to Streams Charts, Ironmouse’s streams accumulated over 9 million hours of watch time between July and September, with her being live for a staggering 1,065 hours.

Following closely behind Ironmouse are three Japanese VTubers who stream on YouTube Gaming, along with popular Twitch personalities like Mira, Jinnytty, Emiru, and Kyedae.

Securing the second spot is YouTube VTuber Miko, who was live for nearly 240 hours during the same period and garnered over 7.86 million hours of viewership.

Rising star Mira claims the position of the second most-watched Twitch streamer, accumulating over 5.17 million watch hours across the 2,185 hours she streamed in Q3 of 2024.

Since the conclusion of her remarkable subathon, Ironmouse has expressed her belief that surpassing Kai Cenat’s record will contribute to the normalization of VTubers in the online sphere.

Reflecting on this milestone, Ironmouse shared, “I know it can be a little bit confusing to see, you know, an anime girl on screen. ‘What is that? What is happening here?’ But it helps making it a bit more normalized.”

Despite her incredible feat, Ironmouse’s reign with the highest number of subs on Twitch may be short-lived, as Kai Cenat has announced his upcoming subathon with the intention of reclaiming the record.
