Streaming star xQc recently delved into an in-depth critique of MrBeast’s Feastables chocolate bars, shedding light on the one aspect that he finds rather irksome about the YouTuber’s confectionery.
MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, introduced Feastables to the market in January 2022. Over the past two years, the brand has soared in popularity, swiftly disappearing from the shelves of major retailers like Target and Walmart.
However, the once-praised Feastables are now under scrutiny as MrBeast, along with his pals Logan Paul and KSI, face backlash for incorporating their products into Lunchly. Lunchly is a collaborative lunch kit designed by the influencers to directly rival Lunchables.
Amidst the buzz surrounding Lunchly's purportedly healthier ingredients and the uproar over "sell-out" YouTubers, streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel decided to join the fray by conducting a review of Feastables himself.
On October 22, xQc sat down with his audience to sample Feastables, offering a surprising perspective on the chocolate bars’ taste. While he likened them to Cadbury chocolate bars, positioning them just below on his personal rating scale at a respectable 7 out of 10, he did have a bone to pick with the design of the Feastables bars.
Expressing his discontent, xQc pointed out that the bars come in various shapes, including both large and small rectangles, deviating from the uniformity seen in Hershey’s bars. He remarked, “I don’t like that there are two versions of the chocolate bars. I don’t like it. Like, two sizes? This is bad. …I’m in the dark, I’m reaching out in my backpack. I want to know how I’m gonna get my next piece of chocolate. I wanna be able to break it off almost blindfolded.”
He emphasized, “It’s a minor detail, but it matters to me. I don’t like it. It is what it is, especially as a candy smuggler in school.”
As of now, MrBeast has not responded to xQc’s evaluation. However, he has stood up for Lunchly against critics, including two dieticians who conversed with Dexerto regarding the lunch kit’s nutritional value.
