Jake Paul's MMA Debut: Rival Offers Fight After Mike Tyson Showdown

Oct 23 2024

Jake Paul, the controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer, has been making waves in the combat sports world. After signing a deal with the Professional Fighters League (PFL) to venture into MMA, Paul's focus has been on boxing, particularly his upcoming bout with legendary boxer Mike Tyson.

In January 2023, Paul inked a deal with PFL to mark his MMA debut, following his discussions about potentially fighting in the UFC. This move came on the heels of his victory over Nate Diaz in the boxing ring.

While Paul is gearing up for his highly-anticipated showdown with Mike Tyson in November, he is already eyeing his MMA debut in 2025 against a formidable opponent. However, a new contender has thrown his hat into the ring.

Dillon Danis, a long-time rival of Paul's brother, Logan Paul, has extended an offer to face Jake in the MMA arena. In a now-deleted tweet, Danis challenged Paul, stating, "If PFL wants to stay in business, their only option is me vs Jake Paul in MMA since his brother isn’t a man of his word and p*ssied out of our deal."

Despite the offer, it seems unlikely that Danis will be Paul's chosen opponent. The history of legal disputes and tensions with Logan Paul make this matchup improbable. Moreover, Danis criticized PFL for lacking star power and engaging fights, hinting at internal issues within the organization.

Interestingly, Danis is not the only contender proposed to face Jake Paul. Previously, offers were on the table from renowned fighters like Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, and Tommy Fury. However, these matchups seem improbable at this stage.

As the anticipation builds for Jake Paul's MMA debut, fans are eager to see who will step into the cage against the 'Problem Child.' With a mix of drama, rivalries, and unexpected challenges, the combat sports world is abuzz with speculation about Paul's next move.
