FaZe Banks pushes Hawk Tuah girl to take action against the $Hawk crypto token team
FaZe Banks recently had a candid conversation with Haliey Welch, known as Hawk Tuah girl, cautioning her about her crypto token, $Hawk, labeling it a “scam.” Welch had proudly launched her own crypto token, $Hawk, on December 4. However, suspicions arose swiftly within the crypto community.
The scrutiny escalated when crypto investigator ‘Coffeezilla’ directly confronted Welch during a Twitter/Spaces discussion on the same day, denouncing $Hawk as “one of the most miserable, horrible launches I’ve ever seen in my life.”
During the call, FaZe co-founder Banks expressed his belief that Welch had fallen victim to deceitful individuals within her team who might have exploited her online influence to capitalize on her rapid ascent to fame.
“Haliey, I’m gonna talk to you directly right now,” Banks initiated. “Because if you really own 10% of the supply of this token, it’s locked up for a year and it’s invested over three years, you got scammed harder than anybody involved.
“This 100% was mismanaged, mislaunched …I would label this a scam, as well. It’s pretty obvious. Like Coffeezilla brought up, 97% of the token was bundled in the same cluster. In layman’s terms, that means basically 97% of all the tokens owned were by related wallets — friends of friends of friends.
“Basically, what I’m getting at is …whoever guided you in this, or whoever directed you to do this, or gave you the advice to do this, you should fire them immediately.”

Welch responded positively to Banks, stating cheerfully, “Yeah, I’m doing the best I can. Thank you, FaZe.”
Following these events, Welch’s crypto token, $Hawk, has swiftly become a subject of intense controversy, with mounting criticism against the memecoin. Coffeezilla, in particular, has been vocal in his accusations against the $Hawk team, alleging “insider trading” and “rug-pulling” of Haliey’s supporters.
Welch is not the only internet personality to face scrutiny for endorsing a crypto token. YouTube sensation turned WWE villain Logan Paul has been under fire for his CryptoZoo project, leading to Paul initiating legal action against Coffeezilla due to his investigative content on the matter.
