Joe Burrow and Olivia Ponton Spotted Together: Relationship Update After Burglary

Just five months after a burglary incident at Joe Burrow’s residence linked the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback to Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton, the duo was seen enjoying a night out together.

On Sunday, May 4, Burrow, 28, and Ponton, 22, were spotted exiting the same vehicle in Miami, Florida. They were in town for the F1 Miami Grand Prix, which was won by Oscar Piastri earlier that day.

In an effort to avoid the cameras, the couple took precautions, with Burrow stepping out of the van first. Ponton followed shortly after, sporting a big smile that hinted at their good spirits.

Their relationship first came to light in December 2024 when Burrow’s Ohio home was targeted by intruders while the Bengals were in Dallas for a Monday Night Football game against the Cowboys.

According to a police report, Ponton was identified as the individual present at Burrow’s home when deputies arrived on the scene. The report noted that she was “employed by Mr. Burrow.”

Ponton had called her mother, Diane, who then contacted 911 to report the break-in. “Someone is trying to break into the house right now,” Diane told the dispatcher. “My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game.”

In a separate call to 911, Ponton informed the dispatcher, “Someone broke into my house.” She expressed her distress, stating, “It’s just, like, completely messed up.”

Ponton reported noticing a “shattered bedroom window” and that a room had been “ransacked,” indicating the severity of the situation.

Days after the break-in, Burrow addressed the incident during a scheduled press conference. “So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” he told reporters. “And way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”

When asked about his frustration regarding the exposure of his personal life, Burrow acknowledged, “That’s part of it. We live a public life and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy. And that has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it’s the life that we choose. Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”

In January, four men were arrested in connection with the robbery at Burrow’s home. The suspects face charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, participating in a criminal gang, and possessing criminal tools.

Interestingly, the same men, along with three additional suspects, were later linked to similar burglaries at the homes of other professional athletes, including Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. They were charged in February, and all seven individuals pleaded not guilty.

As Burrow and Ponton continue to navigate their relationship amidst the chaos, their recent outing in Miami suggests that they are indeed going strong despite the challenges they have faced.
