Justin Thomas Celebrates First Win as a Dad at RBC Heritage

Apr 21 2025

Justin Thomas is basking in the glory of his first win as a father, and it couldn't have come at a better time.

On Sunday, April 19, the 31-year-old golfer made headlines by sinking a remarkable 21-foot birdie putt to secure his victory at the RBC Heritage. Footage shared by CBS on X captured the heartwarming moment as his family, including wife Jillian Wisniewski and their newborn baby, cheered him on from the sidelines.

"That was as fun as I thought it would be," Thomas expressed after his win, according to Golf Week. This victory marks his first since he triumphed at the PGA Championship in 2022, making it a significant moment in his career.

"I didn’t realize how much I missed winning," he added, reflecting on the thrill of the competition.

Thomas's win came against Andrew Novak, who acknowledged Thomas's skill, stating, "Justin just went out and won it. There’s nothing you can really do about it." This victory adds to Thomas's impressive tally, bringing his total Tour titles to 16.

In November 2022, Thomas and Wisniewski tied the knot, and they welcomed their daughter, Molly Grace, on November 18, 2024. The couple shared their joy in a heartfelt Instagram post, announcing, "Our little girl is here! Molly Grace Thomas arrived to us 11/18/24, and we couldn’t be more in love. Both mama (who is a superhero!) and Molly are healthy and doing well."

The couple expressed their gratitude to the staff at Jupiter Medical Center for their exceptional care during this special time, stating, "A massive thank you to @jupitermedicalcenter and their entire staff for such great care the last few days. They made the recovery for Jill and Molly as smooth as possible."

During the ZOZO Championship in Japan, Thomas shared his excitement about fatherhood with reporters, saying, "I know my wife’s going to be an unbelievable mom, and I’m excited for the opportunity to raise a little girl. It’s going to be great."

He continued, "All I know is I’ll be as ready as I possibly can, and we’re going to make the most out of every situation we can. I can’t tell you honestly if I’m ready because I’ve never done it before. I’ll let you know in a couple of months. It will be a challenge in different ways, but one that we’re excited for."

It appears that Wisniewski and little Molly Grace are becoming regulars on the sidelines, cheering for Thomas during his tournaments. Just last week, he shared a series of adorable family photos on Instagram, showcasing their support.

"The par 3 contest @themasters was a little different today than past years! An amazing day with my girls, the Spieths, and the Homa crew. Incredible memories we will cherish forever ❤️," Thomas captioned his April 9 post, which featured a carousel of joyful family moments. "Prep work is done, it’s time to get after it 👊🏼," he added, signaling his readiness for the challenges ahead.
