Justin Tucker Lists Maryland Home for $3.2 Million Amid Controversy
Former Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is parting ways with his Owings Mills residence, listing the property for $3.2 million. The expansive 6,480 square foot home features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, set to officially hit the market on June 6.
The listing describes the property as a "pristine modern home that feels like you've just stepped into new construction," generating interest even before its official debut.
On May 5, Tucker was released by the Ravens, a decision attributed to what the team termed a "football decision." This move comes amid serious allegations against him; reports indicate that at least 16 massage therapists have accused Tucker of sexual misconduct between 2012 and 2016. The NFL is currently investigating these claims.
In response to the allegations, Tucker and his legal team have firmly denied any wrongdoing. "I have always made a conscious effort to be considerate and respectful in all of the interactions with the community that I love so much," he stated on January 30. "It is devastating for me to learn that anyone would feel I was offensive in any way." He further asserted, "I maintain I did not act inappropriately at any point before, during, or after a professional bodywork treatment session."
In a strategic move, the Ravens selected kicker Tyler Loop in the sixth round of April's NFL Draft, signaling a shift in their roster. General Manager Eric DeCosta described the decision to cut Tucker as "tough," acknowledging the complexities involved in such football decisions.
Tucker's tenure with the Ravens spanned 13 seasons, during which he earned a reputation as one of the NFL's premier kickers. He holds the record for the highest career field goal percentage in NFL history at 89.1% and is known for his remarkable 66-yard field goal, the longest in league history.
Before his release, Tucker was the last remaining player from the Ravens' 2012 Super Bowl championship team. His accolades include seven Pro Bowl selections and a spot on the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. DeCosta reflected on Tucker's impact, stating, "Justin created many significant and unforgettable moments in Ravens history. His reliability, focus, drive, resilience, and extraordinary talent made him one of the league's best kickers for over a decade."
