Katie Miller Unveils Stephen Miller's 'Bridezilla' Side
Katie Miller, spouse of Stephen Miller, the former White House deputy chief of staff, disclosed that her husband was the one who took on the role of “bridezilla” during their wedding planning. His vision for the ceremony was grand, and he was determined to have the wedding of his dreams.
In a conversation with Sage Steele on her new podcast, Katie recounted the whirlwind experience of organizing a wedding for approximately 250 guests within a tight three-month timeframe. “I didn’t want a big wedding. I wanted the courthouse. My husband wanted the big wedding. He’s the bridezilla,” she stated. “So I said, ‘Fine, I’ll plan your dream wedding, but I’m doing it in three months.’ Thank God we did, because we got married like two weeks before COVID happened,” she added, reflecting on the urgency of their plans.
Recently transitioning into podcasting after her tenure at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Katie announced her new venture earlier this month. She had previously followed Elon Musk out of the White House to work with him full-time after he left his government position in May.

Her podcast aims to carve out a space for women in the predominantly male MAGA podcasting landscape, positioning itself as a “conservative answer” to popular shows like Call Her Daddy, hosted by Alexandra Cooper. Katie expressed her intention for the show to encompass a variety of topics beyond politics, although her inaugural episode featured an interview with Vice President JD Vance.
During her discussion with Steele, Katie humorously critiqued Stephen’s parenting skills regarding their three young children. “When I come in and Stephen’s had the day with the kids, I know exactly what went perfect, and exactly where he fell short,” she remarked. “This happened last weekend; every single room had every single toy dumped out everywhere across the house. I’m stepping on every single toy, and none of them are together.”
She elaborated on her nightly routine, stating, “At night I go room to room to room and make sure every toy is back home with their parts. This is my thing I’m doing at 10 p.m. That’s not my husband’s skill set.” While acknowledging Stephen’s attentiveness to their children’s meals and nap schedules, she quipped, “But are the toys put away? Absolutely not.”
