At a charity event for the Eagles Autism Foundation, Jason Kelce made headlines when he dramatically unveiled a red, white, and blue speedo, a moment that has since gone viral. The mastermind behind this spectacle? His wife, Kylie Kelce.

Kylie, 33, humorously confessed that her habit of “feeding him donuts and buying baked goods” played a role in Jason’s bold decision to stand on a chair and rip off his shorts. “I did know the speedo was happening because this bet has been in effect between Jason and Beau Allen for a very long time,” she explained during a recent episode of her podcast, “Not Gonna Lie.”

The bet, which has been ongoing for about three months, revolves around a weight loss challenge between Jason and his former Philadelphia Eagles teammate. “The penalty was to wear a speedo to the Ocean Drive event,” Kylie noted, adding with a laugh, “And was it a little bit of sabotage? No. If it was, Beau Allen, you owe me some money because you’re welcome.”

Jason first mentioned the bet on his “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted with his brother Travis Kelce. He recounted how Beau proposed a competition focused on losing body fat while gaining muscle. “I don’t know, Beau wants to have some competition, so we agreed to get DXA scans,” he said.

As the stakes rose, Jason revealed that the loser would don a speedo at the charity event. Interestingly, Kylie was not present for the big reveal; she was busy caring for their three-month-old daughter, Finnley. The couple also has three other children: daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and Bennett, 2.

Kylie admitted she missed the moment because she opted out of the event’s introductions. It was a timely thing that I needed to address based on the thirst traps of my husband… then he just went on and continued to be sexy; I can’t help that.”
