So, here’s the scoop: Jason Kelce’s adorable daughter, Bennett “Bennie” Kelce, is all about that timeout life. This two-year-old isn’t interested in any football chatter while she’s serving her sentence, and honestly, who can blame her? Kids have their priorities, right?
Bennie made a super cute cameo on her dad’s “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Travis Kelce. This little moment went down on May 21, and it was just as entertaining as you’d expect from a couple of NFL stars and a toddler.
So, picture this: Jason, 37, and Travis, 35, are deep in discussion about some proposed rule changes in the NFL. They’re talking about banning the infamous “tush push” and tweaking playoff seeding. And then, out of nowhere, Jason casually mentions, “Bennie’s in timeout right now.” He turns to her and asks, “Bennie, are you OK? You don’t like the rule change either? You think the division winner should keep their home game, right?”
Honestly, if Bennie agrees with that, she might just be the smartest two-year-old on the planet, or at least that’s what Travis joked. “She might be better at deciding all this stuff than everybody else deciding it,” he quipped. And you know what? He might be onto something there.

Then Jason throws another question at her: “Bennie, what do you think about the tush push? Should the Eagles be allowed to do it?” But Bennie, ever the focused toddler, reminds her dad, “I’m in timeout.” Classic move, right? But Jason wasn’t letting her off the hook that easily. “You’re in timeout? Should the NFL be in timeout for proposing the tush push?” he asked. “No? OK, you’re not being any fun right now.”
In the end, the NFL decided not to ban the tush push, which is a play that Jason’s former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, made famous. It’s where teammates literally push the quarterback through the defense. Jason’s got his own thoughts on the play, saying, “I get why certain teams want to ban it for competitive reasons. I get why some people think it’s potentially unsafe. I think optically it looks unsafe.” But he also added, “For me personally, I never felt like there’s that much more of a risk of injuring somebody on the play, and I don’t think there’s any statistics to back that up.”
On a side note, Jason and his wife Kylie are busy parents to three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, and their newest addition, Finn, who’s just a month old. So, you can imagine the chaos at home!
Now, while Bennie might not be ready to dive into football rules just yet, she’s definitely not shy about sharing her feelings. When Kylie announced she was pregnant with Finn, she posted a pic of the three girls in “big sister” sweaters. Wyatt looked a bit nervous, Elliotte was all smiles, and then there’s Bennie, who was just sobbing. Talk about a mood!

Kylie captioned the photo, “I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom, and dad are on the same page!”
So, yeah, while Bennie might be in timeout, she’s definitely not out of the spotlight. With her charming personality and those hilarious moments, she’s already making waves in the Kelce family legacy.
