Louisiana Mayor, Convicted of Rape, Wears Pearls in Latest Mugshot - Sex Offender Record Exposes Multiple Tacky Tattoos

In a striking new mugshot, Misty Roberts, the former mayor of DeRidder, Louisiana, posed with pearls and a cross necklace, presenting an image that sharply contrasts with her recent criminal convictions. The 43-year-old's photo was added to the state's sex offender registry on Friday, following her conviction for engaging in sexual acts with a 16-year-old boy at a pool party.

Roberts' mugshot, which features pearl earrings and a matching headband, has drawn attention not only for its seemingly innocent appearance but also for the details surrounding her criminal record. The sex offender registry describes her as heavily tattooed, with six distinct pieces of ink that include a butterfly and a tribute to a deceased lover.

Among her tattoos is a wing design on her left wrist inscribed with the name “Andrew,” referencing William Andrew Cronce, her on-and-off partner after her divorce in 2023. Court documents reveal that Roberts had been dating Cronce when he passed away earlier this year.

Additionally, her body art includes a Leo zodiac sign on her right wrist, a bow tattoo on her right hip, and the phrase “I love you” inked across her abdomen. These details emerged after Roberts was found guilty of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile, stemming from an incident at her son’s birthday party in July 2024.

During the party, which was marked by excessive drinking, Roberts was reportedly flirtatious with the teenage boy, even posing for photos with him while wearing an orange bikini. The trial revealed that she later lured him to another room where the sexual encounter occurred.

Shortly before her arrest, Roberts resigned from her position as mayor. She is now classified as a tier one sex offender, indicating the lowest risk level according to state guidelines.
