McCandless Hosts Film Crew for "How To Rob a Bank"
On Monday, the North Hills buzzed with activity as a film crew set up shop in McCandless.
Residents witnessed the hustle and bustle associated with the production of "How To Rob a Bank," which has been capturing scenes across the Pittsburgh area in recent weeks.
The crew focused their efforts at SSB Bank along Perry Highway, transforming the location into a cinematic backdrop.

This project, produced by Amazon MGM Studios, marks the latest endeavor from acclaimed director David Leitch, known for his work on hits like "Deadpool 2," "Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw," and "Bullet Train." The film boasts an impressive cast, including Pete Davidson, Zoë Kravitz, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Sawai, and Rhenzy Feliz.
In a related event, co-stars Hoult and Sawai participated in Sunday’s activities at PNC Park, where Hoult had the honor of throwing the first pitch during the Pirates' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Filming commenced in mid-June and is slated to continue through August, with a release date set for September 2026, as reported by Movie Casting PGH.
