Napheesa Collier Secures Second Player of the Month Title

Jul 03 2025

Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier has been awarded her second Western Conference Player of the Month title this season, solidifying her status as a key player in the league.

This accolade follows her recent selection as one of the captains for the upcoming WNBA All-Star game, highlighting her influence on the court.

During June, Collier showcased her skills by averaging 22.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game. Currently, she leads the WNBA with an impressive 24.4 points per game, along with top rankings in player efficiency rating, defensive win shares, and defensive rating.

On Tuesday, Collier will join Caitlin Clark to draft teams for the All-Star game, set to take place on July 19 at Clark's home venue in Indianapolis.

The Lynx are currently leading the WNBA standings with a record of 14-2. However, they faced a setback earlier this week, losing the Commissioner's Cup final to Clark's Fever, who played without their star due to injury.

Collier previously earned the Player of the Month award for May and has also received two Player of the Week honors this season.

In addition to her on-court achievements, Collier was named MVP of Unrivaled, a 3-on-3 basketball league she co-founded, and was recognized by TIME magazine as one of its 100 Most Influential People.
