Perv Inmate Accused of Exploiting 11-Year-Old via Video Chats from a Pennsylvania Jail
A 30-year-old inmate at Berks County Jail, Tyler Osborne, has been charged with multiple sex crimes after allegedly using a cellmate's tablet to engage in sexually explicit video chats with an 11-year-old girl, according to Pennsylvania authorities.
Osborne reportedly coerced the minor into stripping and performing sexual acts during these interactions, which were discovered following a tip-off from his bunkmate. The investigation revealed that two recorded chats contained disturbing content, prompting immediate action from prison officials.

Previously convicted of corruption of minors and indecent assault, Osborne was prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors and from using electronic devices. Berks County District Attorney John Adams described the nature of the interactions as “disgusting,” emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.
“This individual was asking the child to perform sexual acts on the tablet communication and the child committed those acts,” Adams stated, highlighting the gravity of the offenses.

In light of this incident, Adams issued a warning to other inmates regarding the use of electronic devices within the facility. “We want to make sure that the inmates know we’re looking over their shoulder,” he said. “If they’re engaging in criminal or inappropriate behaviors while utilizing their tablets, we’re going to discover it and we’re going to charge them or take appropriate actions to take those tablets away from them.”
Osborne remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court again on June 3, facing charges that include sexual abuse of children, possession of child pornography, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, and criminal use of a communication facility.
