Philadelphia Flyers Unveil 2025-26 NHL Schedule

Jul 16 2025

The Philadelphia Flyers will kick off the 2025-26 NHL season on Thursday, October 9, facing the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers, in Sunrise, Florida. This marks the third consecutive year that the Flyers will start their season away from home.

Just four days later, the Flyers will return to South Philadelphia for their home opener against the Panthers at the Xfinity Mobile Arena on October 11. The team will embark on a six-game homestand at the beginning of December, with a total of seven home games scheduled in October, December, and January.

Throughout the season, Philadelphia will navigate three four-game road trips: from November 29 to December 3, December 14 to December 20, and December 28 to January 3.

In a significant shift from tradition, the Flyers will not play on Black Friday for the first time in twenty years. The last occurrence of this was in 2005. This change is likely due to the Eagles hosting the Bears on that day.

The Flyers' final game before the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 break is set for February 5 at home against the Ottawa Senators. They will resume play against the Capitals in Washington on February 25.

As the regular season wraps up, Philadelphia will face off against the Montreal Canadiens at home on April 14.
