Ric Flair's Cryptic Social Media Message Leaves Fans Confused

Jun 05 2025

Ric Flair, the legendary figure in professional wrestling, stirred confusion among his followers with a perplexing message shared on social media.

“I Try To Be Nice To Everybody,” Flair, 76, declared in a post on X on June 4. “God Only Knows That I’ve Spent More Money On Spilt Liquor In One Year Than People Have In A Lifetime. I Tried Being Nice, And This Is My Last Message To Everyone.”

He continued with a bold proclamation: “I’ve Got More Money Than I’ve Got Time. Go F Yourself Haters. No Comment Needed. Live With It! Actually Learn To Love It! Get Back To Me Again When You Make 3 Million Dollars A Year At The Age Of 76. That’s What FAMOUS Gets. And By The Way, I Don’t Recognize Anyone In This Conversation Who Is Famous.”

This outburst followed a public dispute with fellow wrestling icon Dutch Mantell, who criticized Flair for his remarks regarding Hall of Fame broadcaster Jim Ross, recently diagnosed with colon cancer.

In a now-deleted post, Flair suggested that Ross, 73, was “seeking attention” by revealing his health condition. After removing the post, Flair claimed it was merely “a joke.”

“Why would he say that? Because he’s a dick,” Mantell, 75, remarked during his podcast “Story Time With Dutch Mantell.” He added, “No kidding. What difference does it make to Ric Flair? The man’s sick, and he was just telling people what’s going on with him.”

Mantell further urged Flair to reconsider his words: “He needs to shut up. He really does.”

Flair responded directly to Mantell on social media, stating, “You Have Always Been A Good Guy.” He added, “The Anger You Pour Out At Everybody Is Clearly Coming From The Pain You Feel. Please Stay Strong!”

The past year has been particularly challenging for Flair, who is the father of WWE superstar Charlotte Flair.

In October 2024, he faced the tragic loss of his stepson, Sebastian, who died by suicide. Flair expressed his condolences to Sebastian’s mother, Wendy Barlow: “I know the pain of your loss will be with you the rest of your life. I still every day of my life think about Reid as you will continue to think about Sebastian.”

Flair’s son, Reid, tragically passed away from a drug overdose in 2013.

In September 2024, Ric and Barlow announced their separation after six years of marriage. “We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work,” Flair stated at the time. “I wish her the best of luck with her projects and I know that she supports mine.”
