Teen TikTok Influencer's Dismembered Remains Found Clogging Water Plant Days After Disappearance

Jul 01 2025

The dismembered remains of 19-year-old Fabiola Alejandra Caicedo Pina, a TikTok influencer known as “China Baby,” were discovered clogging the filtration grid of a water plant in Lima, Peru. This grim finding occurred during routine inspections by police on June 9, just four days after she posted her last video to her 5,000 followers.

Forensic teams identified her mutilated body parts through distinctive tattoos, including one on her back that reads “Paula Sophia” along with a significant date. Reports indicate that parts of her remains were trapped within the plant’s filtration system about a week later, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.

Graphic footage has surfaced showing crews extracting the remains from the facility, highlighting the shocking nature of the discovery. Some body parts remain unaccounted for, adding to the distressing details of this case.

Pina had left her home country of Venezuela as a minor to live with her then-boyfriend, Meiner Jimenez Castillo. A family member recounted, “She never told us she was leaving. She just left, and that was it.” Castillo was found dead in Lima in 2022, with his family alleging that Pina was connected to his death, leading to harassment directed at her on social media.

The Peruvian National Police are investigating the case, noting that the brutal nature of Pina’s death bears similarities to tactics employed by human traffickers. As of now, no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with this tragic incident.
