Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Show Their Support for the Knicks at Playoff Game
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are taking their romance to the next level, and what better way to do it than courtside at a basketball game?
On May 12, the couple was seen cheering on the New York Knicks as they faced off against the Boston Celtics in a thrilling playoff matchup. Chalamet, a New York City native, had the best seats in the house alongside Kylie and her sister, Kendall Jenner. The game at Madison Square Garden attracted a star-studded crowd, including Cardi B, NFL star Stefon Diggs, filmmaker Spike Lee, and actor Ben Stiller with his wife, Christine Taylor.

Chalamet, 29, kept it casual yet stylish in a black Knicks T-shirt layered over a long-sleeved black shirt, paired with black pants. Kylie, 27, opted for a sleek look in a black tank top and leather pants, while Kendall rocked a white tank top, black leather pants, and a blue Knicks hat. Cardi B turned heads in a chic black leather skirt and jacket ensemble.
This game marked the fourth in the semifinals series between the Knicks and the Celtics, and the Knicks emerged victorious with a score of 121-113. The winning team will advance to the Eastern Conference Finals, with the ultimate goal of reaching the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
In addition to their courtside appearance, Chalamet and Kylie recently made their red-carpet debut as a couple in Rome, Italy, at the 70th David Di Donatello ceremony. They coordinated their outfits perfectly: Chalamet donned a classic black suit, while Kylie dazzled in a black gown featuring a plunging neckline.

Their appearance on May 7 came just two days after Kylie attended the Met Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art without Chalamet. While Kylie enjoyed the glitz and glamour of fashion's biggest night alongside her sisters, Kendall and Kim Kardashian, Chalamet was busy sharing moments on his Instagram Story, showcasing his excitement as he watched the Knicks narrowly defeat the Celtics, 108 to 105, in Game 1 of the semifinals at TD Garden in Boston.
As for their romantic outing in Rome, a source revealed to Us Weekly that "Kylie’s really happy and relieved they finally made their debut. It was time, and she wanted to publicly support him and show how proud of him she is." The insider added that the couple has become quite serious, marking this appearance as a significant step in their relationship.
According to the source, Chalamet and Kylie are practically living together at this point, with him frequently staying at her place when he’s not working. "He has been fully integrated into her life," the insider noted.
Since they began dating in the spring of 2023, the couple has made efforts to keep their relationship relatively private. However, they have gradually started to embrace the public eye, making appearances at high-profile events, including the Oscars in March and an L.A. Lakers game in April.
“Everything is going really well,” the source shared. “[Kylie is] proud to stand by him and felt like it was the right time to share that part of their relationship. They are in a really good place. He makes her feel calm and confident, and it is a different relationship from what she has had in the past.”
