Adam Sandler, the New Hampshire native and beloved comedian, is set to bring his "You're My Best Friend" comedy tour to Boston this fall, specifically to the TD Garden on September 30.
While no shows are planned in New Hampshire, fans can catch him nearby at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on September 26. Tickets for the Boston show will be available to the general public starting Friday at noon, although a pre-sale is currently in progress.
In addition to his stand-up tour, Sandler is making waves with his upcoming film "Happy Gilmore 2," slated for release on Netflix in July. Last year, he also debuted a comedy special titled "Adam Sandler: Love You" on the same platform.
Born in New York City but raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, the 58-year-old Sandler has maintained strong connections to New England. In 2020, he shared memories of his childhood home during a segment on "60 Minutes," noting that it remains unchanged since his youth. His mother continues to reside in Manchester.
Two years ago, Sandler made headlines when he visited Webster Elementary School, where he played with children on the playground. He was later seen taking photos with fans at the Mall of New Hampshire, showcasing his down-to-earth nature.
Massachusetts has served as a backdrop for some of Sandler's most iconic films. Notably, "Grown Ups" and its sequel were filmed along the North Shore, while the 2020 horror-comedy "Hubie Halloween" took place in Salem.
