Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro Spotted Together at Wimbledon
Hand in hand, Andrew Garfield and Monica Barbaro made a stylish entrance at Wimbledon on July 6, showcasing their coordinated fashion sense in all-white Ralph Lauren ensembles.
Barbaro, 35, turned heads in a sleeveless sundress, while Garfield, 41, opted for a button-down shirt paired with matching trousers and a sweater draped casually over his shoulders. The couple was seen laughing and enjoying the tennis match from a celebrity-filled box that included Charithra Chandran and Maude Apatow.
Despite the public display of affection, neither actor has confirmed their relationship status. Speculation about their romance has circulated since March, with representatives for both actors approached for comments but remaining silent.
Earlier this year, the pair was spotted together in New York City, attending the Tony-nominated play "John Proctor Is the Villain." Following the performance, Garfield was seen waiting for Barbaro outside The Mark Hotel, further fueling rumors of their connection.

Garfield has historically kept his romantic life private. In an October 2024 interview, he reflected on fleeting relationships, stating, “How many of those relationships work out? I mean, it’s, like, flash-in-the-pan stuff, usually.” His past romances include notable figures such as Emma Stone, with whom he shared a significant relationship from 2011 to 2015.
In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Garfield expressed admiration for Stone, saying, “We care about each other so much... There’s so much love between us and so much respect.” Stone is now married to Dave McCary, but Garfield maintains a positive rapport with her.
Barbaro also tends to keep her personal life under wraps. While she rarely discusses her relationships, she emphasizes the importance of friendships. Earlier this year, she shared insights about her bond with co-stars from "A Complete Unknown," highlighting moments of connection during their press engagements.
“He’s just starting with us because he’s been filming,” Barbaro noted about Timothée Chalamet. “We share one look, and she’s so brilliant. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to hang out with her in this space.”

Reflecting on her experiences in different projects, she remarked on the unique dynamics of working with fellow actors. “This was really cool too because we could just show up and do our jobs and be these proficient musicians who wouldn’t have met until they were in a performance space.”
