Disneyland Paris Reserved for $150K 'Wedding' Between Adult Man and 9-Year-Old Girl
On Saturday morning, Disneyland Paris became the backdrop for a shocking event that left staff and guests in disbelief. A wedding ceremony was set to take place in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty castle, but it quickly turned into a nightmare when employees discovered the bride was just nine years old.

Approximately 300 guests, including a string quartet, arrived at the park before its regular opening hours, unaware of the disturbing nature of the event. Reports indicate that the young girl was dressed in a wedding gown and wearing five-inch heels, which were reportedly taped to her feet.
As the reality of the situation unfolded, park staff contacted law enforcement. Police arrested four individuals involved in the ceremony, including a 22-year-old British man identified as the groom. The girl's mother, aged 41, was also taken into custody. Both had recently traveled from Ukraine to Paris just two days prior to the event.

In addition to the main suspects, two Latvian nationals were arrested: a 24-year-old woman who was hired to portray the bride's sister and a 55-year-old man who was meant to act as her father. The latter informed authorities that he had been recruited for $13,840 but only learned moments before the ceremony that the bride was a minor.
French prosecutors are investigating whether this wedding was merely a grotesque social media stunt, with costs estimated at around $150,000. An advertisement seeking extras for a high-end wedding rehearsal had circulated online days before the event, calling for 200 adults and 100 children aged 5 to 15.

Extras gathered in Paris around 4 a.m. on Saturday, expecting to participate in what they believed was a legitimate wedding. However, by 6 a.m., Disneyland staff began asking them to leave once they realized the bride's age. One extra expressed shock, stating, “We all thought we were going to attend a wedding… Everyone was stunned, no one expected it.”
Disneyland Paris acted swiftly upon discovering the truth, canceling all activities related to the event. The prosecutor's office later confirmed that investigations, including medical examinations of the minor, indicated she had not experienced any violence or coercion, suggesting it was all part of an elaborate setup.

Currently, two individuals remain in custody facing charges of fraud and breach of trust against Disneyland Paris, which has filed its own complaint against them. They are scheduled to appear in court in Meaux as part of an ongoing judicial investigation.
Disneyland Paris has stated it is fully cooperating with authorities as they continue to unravel this disturbing case.
