Beyoncé's Unreleased Music Stolen in Atlanta Car Break-In

Jul 14 2025

Police confirmed that unreleased music by Beyoncé was stolen from a vehicle in Atlanta last week. The incident involved five hard drives containing "watermarked music, some unreleased tracks, footage plans for the show, and past and future set lists," taken from a rented 2024 Jeep Wagoneer driven by choreographer Christopher Grant.

The vehicle was parked in a parking deck near Krog Street Market, a well-known area close to downtown Atlanta. Upon returning about an hour later, Grant and dancer Diandre Blue discovered the trunk window had been shattered and two suitcases were missing. Grant noted he was also carrying sensitive personal information for Beyoncé.

In addition to the hard drives, laptops, headphones, and other valuables—including furs and personal documents—were reported stolen. The police report details the extent of the theft, highlighting the loss of both professional and personal items.

Investigators from the Larceny from Auto Unit have obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect linked to the break-in, although no arrests have been made yet. The identity of the suspect remains undisclosed.

Beyoncé is scheduled to perform in Atlanta on Monday night, marking her fourth and final show in the city as part of her ongoing Cowboy Carter Tour. This tour follows her Grammy win for Album of the Year, breaking a streak of four nominations without a win. She also secured awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Last month, during her first Cowboy Carter Tour show in Houston, she faced a significant technical malfunction but managed to continue performing without interruption.
