Breakaway Music Festival Set for Sacramento in October

On October 11-12, Sacramento will welcome the Breakaway Music Festival, a new addition to the electronic dance music scene.

Announced on Tuesday, this festival is part of a larger tour that spans eight cities across the U.S. from May to October, positioning itself as the largest touring music festival in the country.

While the lineup for Sacramento remains under wraps, previous events have showcased major artists such as The Chainsmokers, Zedd, Tiësto, Afrojack, and Marshmello in other cities.

Early bird tickets are currently available for purchase, generating excitement among local fans. The exact venue for the festival in Sacramento has yet to be disclosed.

Interestingly, Breakaway will take place during the weekend originally slated for the GoldenSky Country Music Festival, which has been postponed until 2026.

Just prior to Breakaway, Sacramento will host its largest music festival, Aftershock, adding to the vibrant music scene in the area.
