Boston Calling 2025: Essential Details for Festival-Goers
Boston Calling 2025 kicks off this weekend at the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, running from Friday through Sunday, with gates opening at 1 p.m. and closing at 11 p.m. Major sponsors this year include DoorDash and Dunkin', adding a local flavor to the event.
This year's festival introduces a revamped stage setup, featuring a single larger rotating main stage equipped with video screens. This change comes in response to last year's overcrowding complaints. Additionally, the indoor arena will host performances from Berklee College of Music students, providing a space for attendees to relax.
Friday's lineup is headlined by country stars Luke Combs and Meagan Moroney, alongside Sheryl Crow and T-Pain. Notably, TLC has withdrawn from the festival, with Dalton & The Sheriffs stepping in to fill their slot on the Green Stage.

On Saturday, Fall Out Boy and Avril Lavigne take center stage, joined by James Bay, Cage The Elephant, and The Black Crowes. The excitement continues into Sunday with the Dave Matthews Band and Vampire Weekend closing out the festival. Other acts include Sublime, Public Enemy, and Tom Morello, while Boston's own Nate Perry & Ragged Company will kick off Sunday’s performances at 2:45 p.m. on the Orange Stage.
Tickets remain available for all three days, with general admission for one day priced around $208.00 plus fees. Two-day tickets start at $408.00, while three-day passes begin at $391.00. VIP options are also on offer.
Weather forecasts indicate a cooler festival experience compared to last year. Friday's temperatures are expected to hover in the 50s with potential rain showers later in the day. Saturday should see isolated morning rain but remain cloudy with similar temperatures. By Sunday, expect a slight warm-up into the 60s with some sunshine.

Public transportation is highly recommended for festival-goers. Options include the 66 or 86 bus routes, the Commuter Rail to Boston Landing Station, or the Red Line to Harvard Square. On-site parking is unavailable, and street parking is limited.
For those opting for rideshare services, drivers should be instructed to drop off at Harvard Stadium, where a designated pickup area will be available at the festival's conclusion. The official address for Boston Calling is 65 N Harvard St, Allston, MA 02134.
Security measures include bag checks at entry points. Acceptable items include small clutch purses and fanny packs measuring 6" x 9" or smaller; however, backpacks and larger bags are prohibited. Hydration packs are allowed but must be emptied before entry.

Food enthusiasts can look forward to over 25 vendors from across Massachusetts, including Flip The Bird from the North Shore and Sally's Apizza from New Haven, serving delicious options throughout the festival grounds.
