Chappell Roan Ends Relationship with Wasserman Following Revelation of Casey Wasserman's Epstein-Related Emails
Chappell Roan took to social media on Monday to announce her split from Wasserman, following the release of court documents that unveiled flirtatious emails exchanged between Casey Wasserman, the agency's CEO, and Ghislaine Maxwell. In her Instagram story, Roan stated she is “no longer represented by Wasserman,” underscoring her commitment to values-driven representation.
“I hold my teams to the highest standards and have a duty to protect them as well,” she expressed. “No artist, agent, or employee should ever be expected to defend or overlook actions that conflict so deeply with our own moral values.” The emails in question are part of the latest batch of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, whose connections to Maxwell have drawn significant scrutiny. Currently, Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking.

While Roan acknowledged the dedication of the agents at Wasserman, her discontent with the agency's leadership was evident. “I have deep respect and appreciation for the agents and staff who work tirelessly for their artists, and I refuse to passively stand by,” she stated. “Artists deserve representation that aligns with their values and supports their safety and dignity. This decision reflects my belief that meaningful change in our industry requires accountability and leadership that earns trust.”
As of now, Casey Wasserman has not issued a public statement regarding Roan's departure. Wasserman is a prominent agency representing a diverse roster of athletes, actors, and musicians globally, with Casey Wasserman at the helm as a notable figure in both sports and entertainment sectors.
