Six fresh faces are set to join the ranks of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, stepping into the squad's iconic boots for the upcoming season.

On July 17, the team took to Instagram to unveil the new recruits: Brenley Herrera, Maddy Unger, Jenna Waller, Morgan Perschy, Parker Kilpatrick, and Faith Ward.

Charly Barby, a member of last year's squad, extended a warm welcome to the newcomers. “OUR TEAM 💙🤍,” she exclaimed in her post. “6 perfect hardworking amazing & dedicated DCC ROOKIES!!!!!! So incredibly deserving. What an amazing summer & an even better season to start!!!! A night everyone will remember forever. I couldn’t love this team more if I tried 💖.”

Herrera, who previously cheered for Texas Tech University, expressed her excitement on social media. “I’m still at a complete loss for words,” she shared on Instagram. “But I’m so honored and excited to announce that I’m officially a DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADER!!!!!! 💙 this journey couldn’t have happened the way it did without the most incredible people in my life.”

She continued, “This is truly such an amazing honor and I want to thank the Cowboys Organization for giving me this life-changing opportunity. I now get to cheer for AMERICAS TEAM!!!!! This Texas girl's heart just might explode. 💙.”

Unger, a former cheerleader from the University of Nebraska, also shared her joy, stating she was “overwhelmed with gratitude & SO excited” in her Thursday post.

Waller, who graduated from the University of Oklahoma in April 2024, and Perschy, who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in May, are also among the new recruits.

Kilpatrick previously cheered at the University of Texas and was part of the Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue team last season, which is recognized as the first co-ed dance crew and drumline in the NFL.

Faith Ward stands out as the first New Zealand native to join the squad and boasts over 200,000 followers on TikTok. “This journey has been incredibly challenging, both physically and mentally, but I wouldn’t change a thing!” she shared on Instagram. “I’ve been pushed in ways I never imagined; I’ve learned and grown so much already. I’m excited to see where this wild ride takes me! I feel so privileged to stand alongside not only the most talented dancers but also some of the most amazing women I’ve ever met.”

The new cheerleaders will benefit from unprecedented financial rewards thanks to their predecessors. During the season two finale of a popular Netflix series focused on the squad, it was revealed that cheerleaders received a staggering “400 percent” salary increase.
