Feb 07 2025

A 28-year-old man, Logan Mirmozaffari being pulled over by state troopers for speeding at a staggering 130 mph on an interstate in Connecticut. According to Connecticut state police, Mirmozaffari was driving his Kia sedan on I-395 in Norwich at an "extremely high rate of speed" when he was apprehended just after midnight on a Sunday.

When questioned about his reckless driving behavior, Mirmozaffari's excuse left officers baffled. He claimed he was in a hurry to get back home to his beloved cat. The police report stated that upon interacting with Mirmozaffari, the trooper noticed several signs of impairment, including the smell of alcohol, glossy eyes, and slurred speech.

Despite his insistence on rushing to see his feline companion, Mirmozaffari's attempt to evade consequences failed when he could not successfully complete a field sobriety test. Consequently, he was promptly arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs and reckless driving.

Following his arrest, Mirmozaffari was released from custody after posting a $500 bond. His next legal appearance is scheduled for March 12 at the Norwich Superior Court.
