Kim Turnbull Speaks Out on Romeo Beckham Breakup and Brooklyn Rumors

Kim Turnbull, previously linked to Romeo Beckham, has publicly addressed their recent breakup and the swirling rumors about her relationship with his brother, Brooklyn. On June 16, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts.

“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to avoid adding fuel to the fire,” Turnbull stated, “however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”

The couple ended their seven-month relationship last month, prompting speculation and gossip. Turnbull, 24, did not shy away from addressing the persistent rumors regarding her alleged involvement with Brooklyn, 26.

“I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question,” she clarified. “Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation & set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”

Brooklyn Beckham has been married to actress Nicola Peltz Beckham since April 2022. Tensions within the Beckham family have reportedly escalated due to Brooklyn and Nicola's disapproval of Romeo's relationship with Turnbull.

Last month, Brooklyn and Nicola sought a “separate meet-up” with David and Victoria Beckham to celebrate David’s milestone birthday, aiming to avoid any awkwardness with Romeo and Turnbull, who were also invited. The gathering included David and Victoria’s other children: Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13.

However, David and Victoria declined the request, leading to a significant rift within the family. A source revealed that this family drama contributed to Romeo and Turnbull's breakup just three weeks after the birthday celebration.

“Romeo and Kim did split because of the family drama,” the insider explained. “It was mutual. It was just too much pressure and tension looming over them.”

The source further noted that the situation had placed considerable strain on their relationship, stating, “It was unfortunate that it got to that point, but family comes first for Romeo.”

David and Victoria remain hopeful that this breakup might pave the way for reconciliation between the brothers. “They just want their family to be at peace and whole again,” the source added.
