Romeo Beckham and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull have ended their relationship, coinciding with rising tensions within the Beckham family.
Sources indicate that the couple split in May after a seven-month romance.
This breakup followed closely on the heels of a birthday celebration for Romeo’s father, David Beckham, which took place on May 2 and was attended by both Romeo, 22, and Turnbull, 26.
The news of their separation was first reported by a prominent media outlet.
Romeo and Turnbull were initially linked in November 2024 when he shared photos from a trip to New York City that featured her.
David Beckham's birthday party became a focal point of family discord after Romeo’s brother Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, opted to skip the event to avoid any interaction with Romeo and Turnbull.
An insider revealed that Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, had sought a “separate meetup” with David around his birthday, but their request was declined by him and his wife, Victoria Beckham.
“David and Victoria just want to treat everyone the same and approach life like a family,” the source stated. “But Brooklyn isn’t playing it like that, and everything is a drama.”
The insider further explained that the family simply informs everyone about the party details without complications. “It’s not that complicated. Everyone else seems OK with it,” they added.
The birthday gathering at London’s Core restaurant also included Victoria, 51, along with their two youngest children: son Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 13.
Recently, another source disclosed that Brooklyn and Nicola remain estranged from their parents. “There hasn’t been any sort of resolution from either side,” the source noted, adding that David and Victoria have not made attempts to reach out.
Despite a brief visit to London from his home in Los Angeles, Brooklyn chose not to contact his parents due to the ongoing tension, believing it wouldn’t lead to a productive conversation.
In light of the birthday party fallout, Brooklyn is reportedly “giving everyone space” at the home he shares with Nicola in Los Angeles.
“They have their own separate lives and have been carrying on for now,” the insider remarked.
Amidst the current family strife, another source expressed that David and Victoria remain hopeful for reconciliation. “Friends and people around them see a long road to mending this,” the source explained. “But there is a desire to mend on David and Victoria’s part.”
