NFL Films Addresses Jordon Hudson's Hot Mic Incident

Oct 20 2025

NFL Films has publicly distanced itself from Jordon Hudson following her comments captured on a hot mic during a session at their New Jersey studios last year.

Footage released on October 17 by the podcast “Pablo Torre Finds Out” features Hudson, 24, expressing dissatisfaction with the graphics for "Coach," a football analysis show co-hosted by her partner, Bill Belichick.

This production took place at NFL Films Studios in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. In response to the incident, NFL Films issued a statement clarifying their lack of involvement with the show.

“NFL Films did not produce Coach with Bill Belichick,” the statement read, emphasizing that they neither edited nor shot the show, nor do they own it. The studio allowed Belichick and the Underdog production team to use their facilities as he was already present for his role on Inside the NFL.

Belichick, 73, has appeared as an analyst on The CW’s Inside the NFL during his coaching career, which includes his recent appointment as head coach at the University of North Carolina announced in December 2024.

Regarding how podcast host Torre, 40, acquired the footage, NFL Films denied any connection to the leak. “We have absolutely no reason to believe that this footage leak came from NFL Films or from any employee of NFL Films,” they concluded.

The footage, recorded in September 2024, shows Hudson engaged in a candid discussion with the production team about her concerns over the graphics. “The background on here… I thought this was going to end up looking like [it was] scribbled into a playbook rather than a typed font and whatnot,” she remarked. “This feels like a ‘How many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb?’ situation.”

Hudson also expressed frustration over costs associated with the graphics work. “It’s a lot of salary to pay for this,” she noted.

Since going public with their relationship last year, speculation about Hudson's role in Belichick's professional life has been rampant. She even offered her assistance to speed up the graphic design process. “If somebody puts on a clock, I could create this in five minutes,” she said, gesturing toward one of the graphics. “Will you give me two grand to do that?”

Hudson further suggested using Adobe Photoshop, claiming her experience allowed her to complete such tasks quickly. “Honestly, I’ve done it before… It takes literally three minutes to do it. I was able to build out [Belichick’s] entire website with animations, with all of these things.”

The conversation between Belichick and Hudson eventually shifted to a more private setting where they continued their discussion. “I don’t know how they have four full-time graphics people,” Hudson remarked, prompting Belichick’s candid reply: “They can’t do s***.”
