Paige Bueckers has officially confirmed her relationship with Azzi Fudd, marking a significant moment for both athletes.
During an interview with WAG Talk at a WNBA All-Star event on July 17, Bueckers, 23, shared details about her connection with Fudd, 22. The conversation, which was later posted on TikTok, included trivia questions about her “D-I girlfriend.” Bueckers showcased her knowledge by answering all but one question correctly, missing only the one about Fudd’s mother’s former team, the Sacramento Monarchs.

This public acknowledgment is a first for the couple, although fans have speculated about their relationship for years. Speculation intensified in June when Fudd posted a photo on her Instagram Story featuring a phone case that read “Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend.”
Fudd has been a constant presence at Bueckers’ games throughout her inaugural WNBA season, even being spotted holding hands with her after a game on July 8. Just two days later, images surfaced of the pair wearing matching necklaces adorned with “A” and “P.”
Their ability to maintain a relationship amid the demands of Division I and professional basketball is noteworthy. Both were top-ranked recruits in their high school class and chose to play for the University of Connecticut, where their paths have mirrored each other closely.
Entering college with immense expectations, both players found immediate success as freshmen. However, they also faced challenges with injuries that led to doubts about their long-term potential in the sport.
Their time together at UConn culminated in a triumphant moment when the Huskies defeated South Carolina in the 2025 National Championship game.
