'RHOBH' Newcomer Amanda Frances Opens Up About Dorit Kemsley Feud, 'Selling Sunset' Drama, and More

Amanda Frances never anticipated becoming a central figure in Beverly Hills gossip, yet the manifestation coach is stirring up quite the conversation.

In a recent chat on a popular podcast, the rookie from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" delves into her tumultuous entry into the franchise and her previous reality TV experiences.

From clarifying her notable appearance on "Selling Sunset" to defending her personal development business against fellow cast members, Frances shared key insights during her candid discussion.

Frances recounted a moment with veteran cast member Kyle Richards, who offered some straightforward advice about navigating reality television. “Hey, everyone here knows this is the job where we have to talk bad about each other,” Richards reportedly told her.

Despite Frances perceiving her inquiries as harmless, they ignited tension with Dorit Kemsley over four consecutive dinners. “It felt like an initiation process,” Frances reflected, suggesting that Kemsley was not keen on making her transition into the group smooth.

“She didn’t want me to have an easy time growing into the group, at least that’s how it feels to me,” Frances stated, noting that an apology from Kemsley has yet to come.

On a brighter note, Frances found a genuine ally in Erika Jayne, whom she described as “really sweet off camera.”

Frances commended Jayne for allowing her to discuss her alleged “cult” background without judgment. Laughing off the controversy, she pointed out that the “dirt” unearthed by her co-stars was merely snippets from her initial blog post.

Frances expressed surprise at Bozoma Saint John’s mixed signals—supportive during private lunches but critical in confessionals, even suggesting Frances amassed wealth by “taking money” from others.

As the “Money Queen” running an online money manifestation business, Frances quickly countered the critique. “Any business owner who believes they’re taking money from people is going to have a very hard time functioning in business,” she asserted, highlighting that her courses boast an impressive repeat customer rate exceeding 80 percent.

Before joining Bravo, Frances made a brief yet memorable appearance on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” alongside real estate agent Davina Potratz. Their tense exchange about a real estate deal resurfaced on social media when Frances joined "Beverly Hills," leading fans to speculate about their relationship.

However, Frances clarified that the portrayal of their transaction was skewed. She had actually terminated Potratz over six months prior to filming their final scene together. “Selling Sunset” producers insisted on closing the narrative surrounding their dealings, prompting Frances to return for the scene as a courtesy.

By the time they filmed their kitchen conversation, Frances’ house had already been sold. She claimed Potratz seemed more interested in reality TV fame than being a supportive agent. “I don’t think the producers on ‘Housewives’ would set me up by lying to me that way,” she remarked during the interview.

The latest episodes of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
