Streamer Clavicular Arrested for Assault Amid Investigation for Shooting Alligator

Mar 27 2026

Braden Eric Peters, known in the streaming world as Clavicular, found himself in legal trouble once again, this time facing an assault charge. The arrest coincides with an ongoing investigation into his actions involving a firearm and an alligator in Florida.

Just six weeks after a previous arrest during a live stream, Clavicular was taken into custody on March 26, 2026. Reports indicate that the assault charge stems from a February incident involving Clavicular, his girlfriend Violet, and TikTok personality Jenny Popach. While the specifics of the altercation remain unconfirmed, the warrant for his arrest points to this event as a likely cause.

On the same day of his arrest, Clavicular was broadcasting live from the Everglades, where he and his crew were seen discharging firearms. This reckless behavior has prompted a separate investigation by wildlife officials.

According to reports, Clavicular was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on a misdemeanor assault charge. This detail is significant as the firearm-related investigation is linked to activities in the Everglades, which falls under a different jurisdiction.

In Florida, a misdemeanor assault charge can lead to a maximum of 60 days in county jail, up to six months of probation, and fines reaching $500. As of now, no additional details regarding the circumstances of the arrest have been disclosed.

During a live stream just hours before his arrest, Clavicular and his crew encountered an alligator. A member of the group questioned whether they could shoot it, and without warning, pulled out a firearm and fired at the animal. The suddenness of the act caught others off guard, leaving them unable to react in time.

“Is it dead? Can we shoot it?” Clavicular asked during the stream. “Can we dump a round into it? Let’s test really how dead it is.” Following this, he joined in on the shooting spree, firing multiple rounds into the alligator.

After 24 shots were fired at the creature, Clavicular remarked, “Yeah, I think it’s dead.” Despite visible wounds on the animal, there was no confirmation of its condition before they continued shooting.

In a bizarre turn of events during the same stream, a fish flopped onto their vehicle. Clavicular made light of the situation by joking about shooting the fish, while his crew made inappropriate comments about animal cruelty.

Additionally, Clavicular fired shots into the air in an attempt to hit a drone he claimed was monitoring them. Under Florida Statute 790.15, discharging a firearm in public or in a manner that poses danger is prohibited and classified as a first-degree misdemeanor.

Violating this statute can result in penalties including up to one year in jail and fines up to $1,000. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has acknowledged awareness of the incident and is currently investigating the video that surfaced showing individuals shooting at an alligator from an airboat.

“The FWC is aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator,” they stated on social media. “FWC officers are looking into the incident and will provide additional information when available.”

Alligators are federally protected species in South Florida, and any harassment or interference with them can lead to serious legal consequences. If pursued federally, Clavicular could face fines up to $50,000 for his actions.
