Travis Kelce Reflects on Memorable Offseason with Taylor Swift
Travis Kelce's offseason was filled with cherished moments. In a TikTok video released by the Kansas City Chiefs' social media team, players were asked about their favorite experiences during the NFL break. While many highlighted family and personal milestones, Kelce, 35, took a different approach.
“Man, too many,” he remarked, reflecting on his summer away from the field during a training camp session on July 24.
The Chiefs' offseason began in February following a disappointing defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX. For Kelce, this period provided an opportunity to bond with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“Taylor is supporting Travis during this difficult time and it’s just trying to be there for him as much as possible,” a source revealed in February. “The game obviously did not go as planned.”
Swift, also 35, concluded her extensive Eras Tour in December 2024 and spent time with Kelce at his Kansas City residence and on low-key excursions to locations like Utah, New York, Montana, and Tennessee.
“Travis wants to take [a breather] from the public eye,” another insider shared in April. “He was working too much last year, and he didn’t play as well as he wanted. He wants to have a good season and not have the focus be on his relationship with Taylor.”
Later that day, Kelce provided fans with a glimpse into his offseason activities. “Had some adventures this offseason, kept it 💪,” he posted on Instagram, featuring photos of him and Swift enjoying intimate dinners, ice skating sessions, and meals with friends.

In another part of his social media roundup, Kelce was seen hiking and fishing with Swift’s brother, Austin. His older brother, retired NFL player Jason Kelce, also joined them on these adventurous outings.
Swift and Kelce's relationship began two years ago after the three-time Super Bowl champion mentioned on his “New Heights” podcast that the pop star “didn’t want to meet” him at her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” Swift told TIME in a December 2023 interview. “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other.”
The couple made their public debut in September 2023 when Swift attended her first Chiefs game, sitting in a private box alongside Travis’ mother, Donna Kelce. Since then, she has become a regular presence at his games, including both the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves; we’re showing up for each other,” Swift explained to TIME. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
