Travis Kelce Shines at Chiefs Training Camp
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs' star tight end, showcased his charismatic presence at training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, on July 22. A TikTok video posted by the team captured the 35-year-old athlete smiling broadly at the camera, instantly winning over fans.
Kelce's trademark flowing hair, often likened to Disney's Prince Charming, fell gracefully over his forehead, adding to his charming demeanor. The video featured him extending his arm for a high-five, accompanied by the caption, “All smiles over here.”
Fans expressed their excitement about Kelce's return to the field after a break spent with girlfriend Taylor Swift. Comments flooded in, with one user exclaiming, “Ooh. Trav looking goooooood,” while another remarked, “Travis is sooooo cute. Tay Tay is a lucky woman.”
This training session marks the beginning of preparations for the upcoming 2025-2026 NFL season, which kicks off on September 4 with the Chiefs facing off against the Los Angeles Chargers on September 6. The video also featured fellow teammate Chris Jones and Nikko Remigio, who playfully ran past the camera.
Interestingly, quarterback Patrick Mahomes was notably absent from the footage, prompting a fan to ask, “Where’s Patrick Mahomes?” in the comments.

As Kelce gears up for the season, he has temporarily paused his “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted with brother Jason Kelce. During a July 9 episode, Jason announced their hiatus due to Travis's training commitments. “We have come to the end of the road,” he stated, revealing that production for season 3 would conclude on July 23. “Whenever training camp starts, we take a hiatus from the pod because it’s nearly impossible to do a podcast while somebody’s in training camp.”
However, fans can look forward to pre-recorded episodes featuring special guests that will be released periodically. In the background of Jason's announcement, Travis could be heard cheering enthusiastically.
Travis is committed to training until August 13, as the Chiefs prepare for three preseason games leading into the regular season. Reflecting on his performance during a March episode of “New Heights,” he expressed his passion for the game: “I love playing; I still feel like I can play at a high level. And possibly at a higher level than I did last year.” He acknowledged areas for improvement, stating, “I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them.”
With training camp underway and anticipation building for the new season, Kelce remains focused on delivering his best performance yet.
