Trump Spotted at Golf Club Amid Health Speculations
President Donald Trump was seen at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, showcasing a bruised hand while giving a thumbs-up in a recent photo.
At 79, Trump made an unannounced visit to his private club on Saturday, a detail not listed on his official agenda, according to reports.
In the image shared on X, Trump’s hand bore signs of what appeared to be hastily applied makeup, attempting to mask the bruising.
This outing followed a busy week for the president, which included meetings with various world leaders. A peculiar moment occurred at The People’s House museum on Friday when his hand was spotted with noticeable bruising.
Photos revealed that Trump’s right hand was heavily covered in makeup, a move the White House attributed to excessive handshaking. However, the president has not publicly clarified the situation regarding his health.
On Sunday, Trump took to Truth Social to share that he played golf with former MLB star Roger Clemens and his son Kacy. Instead of detailing their game, he used the opportunity to advocate for Clemens’ induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
“Roger Clemens was easily one of the few Greatest Pitchers of All Time,” Trump stated, highlighting Clemens’ impressive career statistics and achievements. He defended Clemens against allegations of drug use, asserting that no evidence had been proven and urging for his immediate induction into the Hall of Fame.

In a separate Instagram post, Kacy Clemens shared a video from their golf outing, expressing excitement about the day spent with Trump.
Despite losing the game, Roger Clemens praised Trump’s golfing skills, noting that he didn’t miss a fairway during their round.
The White House has not responded to inquiries regarding Trump’s health. Team Trump previously revealed that he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) after concerns arose from images showing his bruised hand and swollen ankles during the 2025 FIFA World Cup.
CVI is characterized by impaired blood flow back to the heart due to damaged veins, often leading to swelling in the legs. This condition typically affects individuals over 50 and is generally manageable through lifestyle changes. Experts indicate that older adults are more susceptible to bruising due to fragile skin and blood vessels.
Despite these health concerns, Trump’s physician has maintained that the bruising is unrelated to CVI, attributing it instead to frequent handshaking. “Recent photos of the president have shown minor bruising on the back of his hand,” Dr. Sean Barbabella noted in a memo read to the press pool. He explained that this is consistent with minor soft tissue irritation and the effects of aspirin taken for cardiovascular health.
