Rapper 50 Cent is set to reach out to President Trump, aiming to dissuade him from considering a pardon for Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who is currently embroiled in serious legal issues. This announcement came via a social media post from 50 Cent.
During a press conference on Friday, Trump expressed openness to the idea of pardoning Combs if he is convicted in his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial. “Nobody’s asked. But I know people are thinking about it,” Trump remarked, hinting at the discussions surrounding the case.
Trump, 78, acknowledged that he hadn’t been closely following the trial but noted its extensive media coverage. “First of all, I’d look at what’s happening,” he stated, indicating a willingness to consider the situation further.

In response to the unfolding drama, 50 Cent referenced their longstanding feud in an Instagram post, declaring his intent to communicate with Trump. “He said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. I’m gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,” he wrote.
Further emphasizing his point, 50 Cent added, “Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect, and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him.” He continued, asserting that while Trump is focused on making America great again, there’s “no room for distraction” and that a pardon should not be considered for Combs.
Details from the trial revealed that Combs had expressed frustration over his rivalry with 50 Cent. Testimony from Combs’ former assistant, Capricorn Clark, recounted a moment when Combs complained about the ongoing conflict after an MTV event. “I don’t like all the back and forth … I like guns,” Clark recalled Combs saying.

50 Cent, who survived a shooting in 2000, responded humorously to Combs’ comments. “Wait a minute PUFFY’s got a gun, I can’t believe this I don’t feel safe,” he quipped on Instagram, showcasing his characteristic bravado.
This latest exchange adds another layer to the nearly two-decade-long feud between the two hip-hop icons. In 2006, 50 Cent released a diss track titled “The Bomb,” which accused Combs of having knowledge about the murder of rapper Christopher Wallace, known as the Notorious B.I.G.
Recently, 50 Cent has taken jabs at Combs amid allegations stemming from a lawsuit filed by Combs’ ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which detailed claims of abuse and controversial parties. The rapper has also announced plans for a Netflix documentary addressing these serious allegations against Combs, with proceeds intended for victims of sexual assault and rape.

As the legal proceedings continue, Combs maintains his innocence, having pleaded not guilty to all charges.
