Florida Panthers Unveil 2025-2026 Regular Season Schedule
The Florida Panthers have released their schedule for the 2025-26 regular season, marking the beginning of their title defense as two-time Stanley Cup champions.
Opening night is set for Tuesday, October 7, when the Panthers will host the Chicago Blackhawks. This game will be particularly special as it includes the raising of their championship banner at Amerant Bank Arena. Following this, they will face the Philadelphia Flyers on October 9 and the Ottawa Senators on October 11, both at home.
After the homestand, the Panthers will hit the road for a five-game trip, visiting Philadelphia, Detroit, New Jersey, Buffalo, and Boston.
A standout event on the schedule is the Discover NHL Winter Classic, taking place on January 2 at loanDepot park in Miami. This matchup against the New York Rangers will be historic as it represents the southernmost outdoor game in NHL history.
Additionally, fans can look forward to a rematch of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers on November 22 at home. The Panthers will travel to Edmonton for a return game on March 19.
The home schedule includes 24 games spread across Thursdays (nine games), Fridays (four games), Saturdays (nine games), and Sundays (two games). All Thursday games at Amerant Bank Arena are set to start at 7 p.m., while weekend game times will vary based on scheduling.
The longest homestand of the season occurs from November 26 to December 7, featuring six consecutive games against teams like the Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames, and Toronto Maple Leafs. December will be particularly busy for the Panthers, with ten of their fifteen games played at home during that month.
