Florida Panthers Celebrate Stanley Cup Win with $500K Night Out

After clinching their second consecutive Stanley Cup, the Florida Panthers threw a memorable celebration at E11EVEN nightclub in Miami on June 19.

Just two days post-victory, the team transformed the venue into a party haven. During a June 24 appearance on the “Spittlin’ Chiclets” podcast, forward Matthew Tkachuk disclosed that the bar tab reached an astonishing $500,000, with the nightclub graciously covering the entire cost for the players.

“We’re treated pretty well there,” remarked teammate Sam Reinhart, praising the establishment’s hospitality. “They do a good job. They’re classy.”

At E11EVEN, it’s easy to see how costs can escalate quickly; a 1-liter bottle of Ketel One vodka is priced at $495, while a six-pack of domestic beer sets patrons back $60.

Joining the podcast from a pool in the Bahamas, Brad Marchand also shared his experiences from the night. He became a viral sensation after footage showed him being physically restrained by captain Aleksander Barkov from re-entering the club.

“I had to go back and f***ng bring it, boys,” Marchand explained. “You don’t leave E11EVEN before you get kicked out.”

Reinhart humorously noted that since winning the Cup, he had only managed “a couple hours” of sleep amidst the festivities. “A couple late afternoon naps to go again,” he added, reflecting on the whirlwind celebration. “It’s been a heck of a ride.”

He also mentioned that the team doctor had been quite busy assisting players in recovering their voices after the raucous celebrations.

According to reports, prior to their nightclub escapade, the Panthers enjoyed a lavish dinner for 40 at Maple & Ash in downtown Miami’s World Center. The meal featured items from the restaurant’s IDGAF Chef’s Menu, including dry-aged meatballs, bone-in ribeye, and lobster spaghetti, followed by decadent desserts like chocolate cake and coconut cream pie.

Upon arriving at E11EVEN, rapper Rick Ross sent over a 15-liter bottle of his Belaire champagne, which the Panthers exuberantly sprayed throughout the club.

The Stanley Cup itself made an appearance as Marchand hoisted it while crowd surfing to Chappell Roan’s “Pink Pony Club,” a song that had become an anthem for their rivals, the Edmonton Oilers, whom they defeated in the finals.

As Reinhart aptly noted during the podcast, “I don’t think you can party without that song playing throughout the day.”
