Fox News Host Proposes Unusual Union Between Sydney Sweeney and Barron Trump

Jesse Watters made headlines with an unexpected proposal: Sydney Sweeney should marry Barron Trump. “You know how this ends? She’s gonna marry Barron,” Watters remarked during a segment on his show, The Five, suggesting it could lead to a significant political dynasty.

This peculiar notion emerged while discussing Sweeney’s recent American Eagle ad campaign, which has sparked considerable debate. The campaign features Sweeney, 27, alongside the tagline “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans,” and a commercial where she declares, “My genes are blue.” Critics quickly condemned the imagery, claiming it echoed Nazi symbolism.

Despite the backlash, the ad has elevated Sweeney to a right-wing icon status, drawing support from various conservative figures. Watters has been particularly vocal in defending her, dedicating nearly ten minutes on his solo show to discuss her appeal before further criticizing her detractors on The Five.

“Every girl wants to look like her, and every guy wants to look at her,” he stated, eliciting laughter from his co-hosts. He then questioned the motives of those labeling her a Nazi, suggesting it was an attempt to boycott the brand.

Watters’ fantasy about Sweeney and Barron Trump isn’t isolated; other prominent conservatives have also expressed admiration for the actress. Texas Senator Ted Cruz tweeted in defense of Sweeney, stating, “Now the crazy Left has come out against beautiful women.”

Vice President JD Vance echoed similar sentiments on a podcast, calling her an “all-American beautiful girl.” The enthusiasm even reached the Pentagon, which humorously tweeted about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s “great jeans.”

President Trump himself weighed in after learning of Sweeney’s Republican affiliation, stating, “If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic.” He later praised her on Truth Social, calling her ad the “HOTTEST” and encouraging fans to buy her jeans.

Meanwhile, Barron Trump has remained silent regarding the controversy surrounding Sweeney’s ad. The 19-year-old has largely stayed out of the public eye since his father’s inauguration, unlike his siblings who have made various appearances with their father this year.

While Barron has not commented on the matter, Watters declared the discourse surrounding the ad a triumph for President Trump. “Trump, who is in the culture because he watches TV all the time… champions this great American clothing company, and the Democrats lose another culture war battle,” he asserted. “They are winless in the culture war.”
